The Catechism of the Catholic Church says, "The Christian home is the place where children receive the first proclamation of the faith. For this reason the family home is rightly called 'the domestic church,' a community of grace and prayer, a school of human virtues and of Christian charity." (1666)

In the Rite of Baptism, children first experience God in the arms of their parents. They grow up imitating their parents, following their example as they learn to love, listen, respond, serve others, forgive, and pray.

Our catechists can speak about the importance of prayer, Confession, service to others and Mass attendance but you, the parents and guardians, are the ones who not only teach, form your family through your own example, leading your family to understand the importance of your faith, and of Sunday Mass, by taking the whole family to Church each week. We are here to assist you in forming our young children in the Catholic faith—please use us!

Grades 1-8 in English and in Spanish from Pre-K through 3rd grade are also offered on Wednesdays, from 5:30-6:45 pm.
This year we also include AlphaKids, for families who are part of the Monday night Alpha group. Children will enjoy dinner with their family, and then join together in Alpha activities with their own age groups

WE WELCOME YOU!
Our catechists work hard to prepare for each student. You can join us by offering to assist with special activities, preparing materials as needed or joining a class for a special lesson or project. Feel free to ask your children’s catechist how you can be a part of the classroom. Throughout the year we host a series of age-appropriate projects, activities, and presentations that would be made even more special for your children if you were here with them. Please feel free to sign up as a catechist or helper—we are always in need of parents!

Parent's Prayer
Dear Holy Family; Jesus, Mary and Joseph,
Grant your special grace to our family. Make our home a shrine of peace, purity, love, and labor. Help us to make our home a school of faith for our children, that they may learn the lessons of heaven, and how to apply them to daily life. Let our habits become virtues that we may model for our family a life lived in Christ. Protect us from evil, prepare us for heaven. We pray in the name of the Holy Family, Amen
